Since we are the safest axe throwing lanes in South Austin, we can allow throwers age eight and up! Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian signed waiver and have an adult present while throwing.
There is limited space in the throwing areas, but if you keep the spectators to a minimum, that should be fine. Keep in mind that virtually anyone can participate – from age eight and above! No reason they should not join in the fun!
CLOSED-TOE SHOES are required! No one will be permitted to participate without the proper shoes. So, no flip flops, bare feet, sandals, etc. For the rest of your body, loose comfortable clothing is a good idea. Picture the throwing motion, so you will not want to wear anything that restricts that movement.
Axe throwing is very safe! It is important that you listen to and follow all the safety rules, but if you do, it is a very safe sport. It is one of the safest throwing experiences you can have, as our targets are easier to stick (so you don’t have to throw as hard), and our safety-designed target system helps minimize bounces!
Walk-ins are welcome if we have availability, however, we strongly recommend that you book in advance online.
No, but we offer a wide variety of soft drinks, energy drinks, and bottled water. Also, our cafe offers many wonderful specialty coffee drinks for your enjoyment.

No need to bring in food. We have lots of snack options as well as pizza and wings available in our cafe. If you host a private event with us, you are welcome to cater in food during your event.

We have 10 lanes. Each lane has projected, end-grain targets, digital scoring, and anti-bounce back technology.
You can have up to five throwers per lane.
If you have five throwers, you will have a lane to yourself. If less than five, we don’t reserve an entire lane. If we are busy, you will have other throwers on your lane. If we aren’t busy, we will do our best to keep you separate.
We’re ok with any reason you want to cancel or reschedule. We know that things change, and you never have to worry when booking with The Axe Force. If you need to cancel instead of rescheduling your event, you will get a 100% refund for your event.
Private or large group events require at least 72 hours advance notice to reschedule or refund. If any changes to your event are going to happen, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Yes, everyone throwing or watching is required to sign a waiver and present a valid form of ID. All minors are required to have a parent or legal guardian complete their waiver and have an adult be present at check-in.
